Membership Dues

Being a member of the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association means you are supporting our efforts to protect public lands, advocate for common sense regulations allowing for a sustainable and thriving recreation industry, helping us advocate for healthy natural resources, and supporting our efforts to promote the industry.  We are stronger together and every member grows our reach.  Thank you for trusting us and working with us to keep Idaho the best place to guide in the country.

Membership with the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association renews annually on July 1.  We have three types of membership:

  • Outfitter - For Idaho Licensed outfitting business owner/operator.
  • Guide - Guides employees of outfitters and are licensed by the state of Idaho.
  • Business Associate - Membership for businesses who support the industry.


Our FY 2027 (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027) dues structure

Outfitter Membership

Outfitter membership levels are based on the annual gross revenue of the organization.

  • Under $50,000 annually - $300
  • $50,001 - $100,000 annually - $625
  • $100,001 - $300,000 - annually - $800
  • $300,001 - $600,000 - annually - $1,500
  • $600,001+ annually - $2,100

Guide Membership

  • Basic guide membership - $25
  • Voting guide membership - $50

Business Associate Membership

Partner - $650

The Partner level is for businesses that are truly in this with us. Those who love Idaho's public lands, believe in strong herds, abundant fish returns, and access to work and play in the outdoors. Partner members stand shoulder to shoulder with IOGA and say, "the outfitting industry matters to us," because they understand that the voice of outfitters is essential to the long-term future of outdoor recreation in Idaho.

Partner members are recognized in all IOGA e-newsletters and printed materials as Partner members, listed in the newly updated Business Associate Directory, and receive first priority on vendor space at our Annual Meeting Exhibitor Fair — which sells out every year.

Advocate - $375

The Advocate level is for businesses that believe in the outfitting industry, believe our voice matters, and believe outfitters and guides are important to Idaho's future. Advocate members support the work IOGA is doing and stand behind the outfitters spreading the word about Idaho's public lands and their importance to outdoor recreation in our state.

Advocate members are recognized in all IOGA e-newsletters and printed materials as Advocate members, listed in the newly updated Business Associate Directory, and receive second priority on vendor space at our Annual Meeting Exhibitor Fair — which sells out every year.

Supporter - $125

The Supporter level is for businesses that believe outfitters and guides are an important part of Idaho's recreation economy and want to support our ability to engage and advocate well into the future. Supporters are an essential part of the IOGA coalition, and every Supporter plays an important role in allowing us to continue doing this work.

Supporter members are listed in the newly updated Business Associate Directory and receive third priority on vendor space at our Annual Meeting Exhibitor Fair — which sells out every year.
